The main goal of the Master of Community Planning (MCP) program is to educate students to become outstanding professionals using Alabama and the Southeast US region as a living laboratory to provide hands-on student learning experiences. The instructors make considerable effort to convey skills and knowledge in a way that students find meaningful and relevant in their future careers. The projects shown in the map below are real-world projects that actively engaged students with the local communities and their planning officials in the state of Alabama.
